If you have followed this blog for a while, you will know that I like delivering new projects from time to time. And for most of those projects, I always announce it on the blog when they are ready, mostly because you don’t know where support can come from.
I have delivered many things on this blog, from books to events and concerts, programs, etc. but never in all these times has any of those projects breathed life.
It is my great pleasure to announce to you that for the first time ever, I delivered something, and it's breathing, lol.
My baby is 15 days old today.
To all the conspiracy theorists and womb watchers in the comment section, it displeases me to say, “yes you were right, lol.” Though it is not the way you think cos I didn't grown bigger, nor was any part of my body swollen (well apart from the part that my stomach started growing big when I hit 5 months).
All I can say is “Women are trying o.” To think some people do this thing 4 times, 5 times, and more. Hmm!
I was never a baby person. I’d rather cuddle teenagers anytime than cuddle babies, so I never pictured myself in the role of mother even though I knew I would be a mother one day (like you can escape it in Africa *rolling eyes*). But God knows what he was doing when he decided that humans should carry babies in their wombs for 9 months. It was because of people like me, so the bond between mother and child and other maternal instincts would kick in, and we won’t treat the child like another project (thanks to the choleric side of me).
I have not put any pictures on social media, but I will do that later. I am still confused about how to go about it.
As you know, we love series on the blog. Every series we have run have been highly interactive, such as the Guess the Blogger series, Close Shave series, Journey to Marriage series, etc. I have decided that it will be nice to do a pregnancy series, from the first day I got the shocker news (it wasn’t planned), till the very last push, and postpartum challenges.
Please let me know what you think about this.
In the meantime, I am now a mother, so you need to respect me more, lol, but don’t call me Mama anybody. My name still remains Atilola.
Thank you Jesus!!! It can only be God. Congratulations to your family and welcome our Blessed Baby Boy (BBB). If I hear your are not Mama... Atilola be careful o, lol.
ReplyDeleteIn the African way, you are Mama...ok, Mummy BBB. I didn't call you Mama now*smiles*
God bless you all and give you the anointing of ease through out motherhood.
Loolll. I refuse ooo. African or not. Thank God family members (who are usually the culprits) are not calling me that.
