Lol, I guess you have been very busy.
DeleteThanks so much for the encouragement
Internet celeb reminds me of twitter lol
ReplyDeleteAbi oo, though I don't really experience it, as my twitter friends are sane people
DeleteSo true about Internet celebrity. Many people have so much to say on the internet but can not influence anyone positively in the real world.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for the story behind your book
Very true. So much to say on the internet
Deletelol, this sums up everything about it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your book.
Abi naa, thanks
DeleteHmmmm,i like! Some people need to see this post,i mean the facebook and twitter celebrities.
ReplyDeleteYea, people that open their mouth and say very mean things, lol.
DeleteTotally agree
ReplyDeleteI am still struggling to understand why some people post bits about their mundane, trifling, boring, inane and inconsequential life on the internet....
'I wore green shoes today..'
'I went to a picnic yesterday....'
'I had a fight with my boyfriend....'
'We made up.....'
'We broke up again....'
Really?
Ahahahahhahahahaaa.
DeleteThe internet sometimes exposes the joblessness of some people
DeleteHahahaha. N.I.L. has entered me oh. There I was thinking everyone cared what I had for lunch yesterday. :(
Deletewelllll.......very nice poem but I don't have a problem with internet celebs sha :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I don't have a problem with their 'celebrity status', but I believe we should learn to respect each other and not haul insults on the internet
Deleteso true. most people are rockstars on the internet and losers in real life
ReplyDeleteLol at 'rockstars'.
DeleteGosh! sistah! you just spoke my Language!
ReplyDeleteJeez! outside this cyber world, some people are just not worth it!
Cyber bullies, have turned blogsville into something else!
Having plenty comments or followers does not mean you have 'friends'.
So like this poem, that i am going to read it again!
kudos sistah!
Very true. Press the ignore button to deal with cyber bullies, it works all the time.
DeleteThis is so true about the world on twitter...nice write up.
ReplyDeleteI heard that the twitter world can be harsh at times, I am glad that I have not experienced it and I am very happy to keep it that way
DeleteHey! you said i didn't do the link well? Pls teach me how to do it..am a novice with the gadgets :D
ReplyDeleteYep! read it again and i would definitely put you in my prayers,
GOD'S favour will continue to shine on you, like the morning sun, and HE will go ahead of you like a raging fire to destroy any obstacles on your path of success as you advance forth...in JESUS mighty name..amen.
{{{all will be well hug}}}}
Amen to all your prayers for me. I really appreciate it.
DeleteNow thinking about how to help you link the picture...
You were true to your words in writing this poem which really reflects my previous blog post about 'Potential Pitfalls of Social Media'.
ReplyDeleteThe Internet for its benefits gives some people a false sense of anonymity which doesn't really exist.
Yea, I wrote the poem three weeks ago.
DeleteI guess when people feel they are anonymous, the begin to act out of character, cos they feel no one is watching them
you captured the whole thing well jare. I salute you. couldn't have said it better
ReplyDeleteThanks so much stelzz.
DeleteCongratulations my dear! Wow! To imagine how much of your writing I have missed during my 'awol'.
ReplyDeleteI pray God continue to bless you more.
Thanks o. Amen to your prayers
DeleteThat me laughing as well as checking myself. LOL...Nice one.
ReplyDeleteLoool. Thanks
DeleteThat poem is so on point on so many levels. Congratulations again on your published book. Ko ni je asemo l'oruko Oluwa.
ReplyDeleteYoruba Lady, Amin ooooo. How every?
DeleteWell written. You hit the nail on the head deep into the skull. What's the point of living a fake life on social media platforms when the real life is bland and empty? Well, I'll excuse some people who see this as the only way to express themselves but then, what do we say about those who go too far and begin to literally 'oppress' online?
ReplyDeleteI just said a prayer for you. Remember He said whe we pass through fire, He'll be with us. Stay strong. This too shall pass.
ReplyDeleteI like your poem. :o)
Thanks so much. Amen o
Deletelol this needs to be on the first page of every social networking website... to remind people to realise it is a vitual world.
ReplyDeleteAbi ooo. Let's not get it twisted
DeleteI so love this, mind if i post it on my Facebook's Notes? with credits of course :)
ReplyDeleteYes, but with credits, just like you stated. Thanks.
DeleteLemme know when you are done putting it up
Heyy I'm currently reading your book and it's soo different(in a good way of course).. Good job :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks so much. I appreciate this.
DeleteDid you win this in a giveaway or what?
How come I never read this??? Makes too much sense!
ReplyDeleteBtw, where can I get your book?
Lool, thanks.
DeleteAre you in Nigeria? If you are outside Nigeria, you can check the details on how to get the book through here

My dear, may the peace that passes all understanding fill your heart and your mind. I will put you in prayers...
ReplyDeleteAmen. Thanks so much
DeleteVery well written poem. A lot of people need to be reminded as often as possible that the internet is not the real world. Congrats dear on your novel. More of God's grace and strength to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much lady. How work oo?
DeleteHi Atilola, you are a talented observer.More grease to your elbow.Do remember though, that the internet would be a boring place without the internet warrior.
Deletehttp://henryik2009.wordpress.com
Thanks for the compliment o.
DeleteI doubt that I would miss the Internet celebrity should he decide to have mercy on us by disappearing.
Atilola, you've said it all. Life online is not the same as life offline. We all need that reminder.
ReplyDeleteYes o, constant reminder
DeleteI'm so lovin this, at least i'm not alone in that feeling and it seems like I've found some1 with whom I share some things in common with. I don't even know if my english is correct, but please follow mine www.mjadytots.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks. Lol, I don't think there's anything wrong with your english oo.
DeleteI don't understand the kind of pleasure people derive from having so many friends on facebook. People you know, the ones you don't know and the ones you will never post a message on their wall and the other way round!
ReplyDeleteThat part of people that cannot look their mate in the eyes and call them stupid making some funny comments on facebook and twitter is the most amusing.
Having a lot of friends on facebook can help you for publicity purposes. I went on a deleting rampage sometime back, but now, I regret it.
DeleteNice one @ilola. It does seem that some people cant separate real life from cyber life. till you drop off fb/twitter and realise that not one of your 3000 friends bothered to ask after you.
ReplyDeleteLoooool. True! That happens all the time.
DeleteHaha! Love the poem jare
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your book... my reading list this summer just gets longer and longer!
Thanks ooo. Don't worry, my book is different and refreshing, lol.
