The reason for her happiness...

Source

Wedding Bells ring
Ring placed on her finger
Fingers placed in her husbands
Husbands kiss on her lips
Lips curved up smiling in happiness
Happiness not because she met the man of her dreams
Dreams have finally produced a sigh of relief
Relief that now, all the aunties will finally give her a break

  1. Haha...her first point of joy..aunties will finally "free her"...the sad reality in our country today.
It would take a long time to discuss the issues your last statement raises in my mind...
    *sigh*

    1. Thanks very much for the compliment, dear. There's actually a particular name for this type of poetry. It skips my mind now, but I will remember soon.
